Field boots, Hungarian-style

Hungarian-style field boots. These extremely robust hunting boots are modelled on the boots that were widely worn by the officers of the Hungarian infantry regiments. A tall, classic top boot with a patent fastening at the ankle. The straps are tightened in one pull and secured in the metal buckle. The boot thus combines the advantages of a riding boot with those of a well-fitting walking shoe.
The field boot is suitable for ladies and gentlemen. It is made of cowhide and has a leather lining in the foot. The treaded sole is made of natural rubber. The upper is joined to the insole with a double stitch, which makes it very durable. We supply the boot with an insole that has a summer and a winter side – leather for summer, felt for winter. The boot can be resoled several times by a specialist.
We have had a pair of these boots in a long-term wear test since 1993 (now on its second sole), and it still gives excellent service as a year-round hunting boot.
